WebGL involves the heavy use of Javascript API to apply the 2D and 3D graphics without the necessity of other plugins. It is simple and easy to use. A great example is the virtual world of Cloud Party. Without having to download anything to your computer, you can operate the use of the 2D and 3D graphics all through the browser itself.
